Already a Rogers Magazine Service subscriber?
We hope your subscription runs so smoothly that you never have to give it a thought. But sometimes we do need to hear from you:
How long does it take for a new subscription to start?
Please allow 4 to 8 weeks for a new subscription to start arriving. Weekly and bi-weekly magazines usually start arriving within 4 weeks, while magazines with less-than-monthly frequency may take a little longer due to their publishing schedule. Certain magazines from the U.S. sometimes take 10 to 12 weeks for your first issue to arrive. Please contact us if your subscription takes longer than this to start.
How long does my subscription last?
For your convenience, your Rogers Magazine Service subscription lasts as long as you want. To keep your magazines coming, you don't need to do a thing. If you want to change or discontinue a subscription, please visit our Customer Care Site. Please note that some offers involve a minimum 6-month subscription duration to retain bonus gift. If applicable, the minimum duration will be detailed before you place your order.
When do I renew my subscription?
Rogers Magazine Service renews your subscription for you, so you receive uninterrupted service for as long as you choose. Your subscription continues until you tell us to stop. Until then, it's charged on a pre-authorized basis to the credit card of your choice. For annual subscriptions, you'll receive a written reminder two months before your card is charged, so you'll have plenty of time to change or discontinue your subscription at our Customer Care Site if you wish. For subscriptions charged monthly, you can make changes anytime after the first six months – just let us know.
I received a renewal notice directly from the magazine. What should I do?
Some magazine publishers' computer systems will generate a renewal notice, but you do not need to respond to these, since Rogers Magazine Service takes care of your renewals.
What about subscription price increases?
If a price has to increase, you'll know about it well in advance. Rogers Magazine Service provides the most competitive prices possible. If we can't avoid passing along a renewal price increase to our customers, we'll send you the details in your written reminder two months before your card is charged the new rate. If you're not satisfied with the new price, you're always free to discontinue your subscription without penalty.
What taxes apply to my magazine subscriptions?
How do I stop a subscription?
Please visit our secure Customer Care Site anytime you have a question about your subscription, or if you wish to make a change – for example, to stop or switch magazines, or if you're moving.
Do you offer subscriptions to my location?
Subscriptions are available for delivery everywhere in Canada, including houses, apartments, businesses, schools and Post Office boxes. At present Rogers Magazine Service does not offer subscriptions for delivery outside Canada.
What about credit card security?
Our sites use industry-standard security measures to protect data against loss, misuse and interception by third parties. You may already know that most financial institutions either cover all charges resulting from unauthorized use of your credit card or limit your liability to $50. If someone uses your credit card in an unauthorized manner as a result of your shopping on this website, through no fault of your own, we'll cover up to $50 (Canadian funds) of the charges your credit card company or financial institution doesn't cover. Please see Your Guarantee for details.
What about magazines and the environment?
If you’re among the many Canadians interested in choosing green products to reduce your environmental footprint, Rogers is committed to finding ways to be more eco-friendly. For example:
As a company devoted to corporate social responsibility, we are pleased that Rogers is included in the Jantzi Social Index, a stock index of 60 Canadian companies that pass a set of broadly-based environmental, social and governance criteria.
For details on Rogers' corporate environmental policy and activities, please see http://your.rogers.com/aboutrogers/CSR/environmentalactivities.asp.
It also makes sense to re-use and recycle your magazines:
